A high -level Pakistani parliamentary delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, president of the Pakistani peoples party and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, finished a two -day visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York. The delegation transmitted Pakistan’s position on regional tensions, urging respect for international law and peaceful relations with the neighbors.
During the visit, the delegation met the UN Secretary General, the President of the General Assembly, the members of the Security Council, the OIC group ambassadors, media representatives, civil society and the Pakistani diaspora.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Pakistan seeks peaceful and cooperative relations based on equality and mutual respect, but will not tolerate the aggression or violations of international standards.

The delegation underlined the illegal actions of India, including the violations of the Charter of the United Nations and of international humanitarian law, and condemned the attacks against civilians in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and the cashmere (iiojk). They rejected India’s claims on the terrorist attack on April 22, citing a lack of evidence.
Speaking at a press conference at the United Nations in New York on Tuesday, he blamed India for using the attack on Pahalgam from April 22 to IIOJK as a pretext for attack. He stressed that Pakistan had constantly condemned terrorism in all its forms and proposed a collaboration between ISI and RAW to fight terrorism.
“I am completely convinced that if Isi [Inter-Service Intelligence of Pakistan] and raw [Research and Analysis Wing of India] Sitting and worked together to fight against these forces, we would see a significant decrease in terrorism in India and Pakistan, “he said.
He described the recent ceasefire as a “first welcome stage”, but warned that he was “a first step”. Bilawal also underlined the human cost of terrorism in Pakistan, declaring: “If you compare the number of victims to terrorism, then many more Pakistani are killed by terrorists than the Indians.”
A concern has been raised on India’s unilateral decision to suspend the vital waters (IWT), vital for more than 240 million Pakistani. The delegation warned that “the armament of India water” violated the obligations of the treaty and international law.
Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to fighting terrorism in all forms and has condemned terrorism and transnational assassination campaigns sponsored by India. The delegation called for cooperation on politicization to combat terrorism effectively.
The delegation underlined the limited and lawful response from Pakistan to Indian provocations and warned against attempts to standardize arbitrary strikes in the region sensitive to nuclear, warning that such actions could have disastrous consequences.

They called for a fair and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and cashmere dispute, in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmir people.
The delegation urged the international community to maintain the sacred character of the treaties, to restore the Treaty of the Indus water and to support a complete dialogue between India and Pakistan.
The other members of the delegation included the Minister of Climate Change, Dr Musadik Masood Malik; Sherry Rehman Senator, Chairman of the Senate Climate Change Committee; Former Foreign Ministers Hina Rabbani Khar and Khurram Dastgir Khan; Senator Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari; Senator Bushra Anjum Butt; And former Foreign Affairs Secretaries Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.
Pakistan has sent two delegations to various world capitals in the Islamabad diplomatic campaign to present its position on India’s attack after the attack on Pahalgame.
A delegation of nine members led by Bilawal visiting the United States, while another team, led by a special assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, is currently in Moscow, where they met the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday.

At the United Nations, the Pakistani delegation has engaged with representatives of the member states of the United Nations Security Council, including some of the Allies close to India, informed on the developments of security concerning South Asia after the recent military assault in India and unilateral actions.
The parliamentary delegation led by Bilawal arrived in Washington on Wednesday, where they were warmly welcomed by the Pakistan ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh.
