Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi chaired an important meeting in Islamabad. It was decided during the meeting that the FIR will be recorded against expelled people and that their passports would also be canceled. It has also been decided that the deportees would be placed on the passport control list for five years.
On the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, a committee was trained under the direction of the interior secretary to strengthen and further improve the rules and regulations of passports. The Minister of the Interior said that the deportees caused Pakistan’s embarrassment internationally, so no leniency will be shown to them in the future.
The Minister of State in the Interior Tallal Chaudhry, the interior secretary Khurram Agha, the DG Fia Riffat Mukhtar Raja and the DG Mustafa Jamal Qazi passports were present on this occasion.
