The Florida Panthers again beat the EDMONTON Oilers to win the Stanley Cup.
They needed one less match in this best seven series, buying the Oilers, 5-1, in match 6 to seal the consecutive championships on Tuesday evening.
Sam Reinhart was a real star of this clincher series, scoring four goals so that Florida led them to victory.

Panthers are the first team since the Lightning of Tampa Bay to defend their title, because they won in 2020 and 2021.
Reinhart, who scored in 3-5 matches, was a man on a mission since the start of it, as his first goal of the match shows, which gave the panthers an early advance.
He went to fly in the Edmonton area, stole the washer of Evan Bouchard, died around Mattias Ekholm with a clever movement and fired a blow in front of Stuart Skinner while he was going down on the ice. Things were silent in the second period, because the two teams exchanged blows on the offensive side, but in vain. The shots were in favor of Edmonton, who knew they needed to put something in the net to bring momentum by their side.
But a strange shot by Carter Verhaeghe bounced the panthers of Skinner’s body, landing just to the stick of Captain Aleksander Barkov, who sent him to the right for Reinhart for the deviation in the net.
A 3-0 deficit in an essential game was a killer for Edmonton, and they could not recover as they did before in this series.
They emptied the net with more than six minutes to play in the third period with this still 3-0 hole intact. It was at this moment that the panthers made a duty to find Reinhart, who not only obtained his hat turn, but added one more on the boards to do it 5-0.
The oilers were able to climb on the board with the hand of Vasily Podkolzin spoiling the laundering of Sergei Bobrovsky.
But that did not spoil the anxiety that the whole team had, knowing that the work was done, and the cup remained in Florida. The panthers rushed to the ice before the final horn blows, while the celebration followed.

Sam Bennett, although he did not have a point in this match, was appointed winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy, who is given to the most useful player of his team during the Stanley Cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile, with another defeat of the Oilers, a Canada team did not win the Stanley Cup from Montreal Canadians in 1993.
