The Australian PGA Tour star Jason Day is back to a major with viral outfits, and he went with an American look this time.
Day had regular adjustments for tournaments when he had a contract with Nike.
Since he broke with Malbon Golf, he has been the speech on the tour for looks that broke the internet, whether it was his sweater vest that Augusta National Golf Club has told him to take off or his old -fashioned gaze in the Wells Fargo championship in 2024 which let golf fans debate the look.

That said, Day takes risks on the journey with his sense of fashion. Before the US Open, he had perfect shorts at the training range, which fans seemed to love.
The day displayed a complete American flag on his shorts to go with a Malbon Marine Polo which included red and white stripes and a personalized flag on the sleeve of the arm.
“What adjustment of Jason Day,” tweeted Claire Rogers from Golf.com.

But Day has not finished showing his American mind. He managed with a malbon White sweater that had stars on the collar and another personalized malbon flag on an arm sleeve.
The Malbon team clearly wanted to celebrate America before the third major of the season.

While the day can be better dressed in Oakmont Country Club, he hopes to tame what should be a difficult course provision.
The rough in Oakmont has become viral like the outfits of the day to be long and treacherous for the participants this week. Whether in the fairway or around the Greens, the players will have to be precise with each time, even more than usual, to be able to mark.
The Greens have also proven to be a challenge during training tours, with short putts exceeding the hole if they are missed because of angulation.

Day has not yet won a tournament this year, but he has three Top 10. He has a major to his credit, winning the PGA championship in 2015. The closest he won a major since then was the 2023 open championship, where he finished on the second row.
The best finishes of Day at the US Open came in 2011 and 2013, when he was also a finalist.
