Lahore:
The High Court of Lahore (LHC) issued opinions to the competent authorities, requesting their answers on a petition contesting the alleged abusive use of the Punjab government funds for the personal and political promotion of PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif and the Minister-in-Chief of Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Judge Farooq Haider took over the petition filed by Ashba Kamran, who argued that public funds intended for well-being and job creation were rather used for the political brand of Nawaz and Maryam.
The court then ordered the authorities concerned to submit their answers within two weeks.
