‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Finale Hits Theaters Ahead of HBO Max Debut

The Pittthe Emmy Award-winning medical drama from HBO Max, breaks new ground with an early theatrical release of its Season 2 finale, partnering with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for nationwide screenings ahead of its streaming debut.

Warner Bros. Television and HBO Max announced that the Season 2 finale of The Pitt will screen at select Alamo Drafthouse locations in the United States on April 13, three days before its premiere on HBO Max on April 16.

The screenings are designed as a tribute to healthcare workers, celebrating their dedication to communities across the country.

Active and retired healthcare professionals are invited to reserve places with a $10 food and beverage voucher, while all attendees will receive an exclusive gift. The Pitt gifts.

Participating theaters include venues in New York, Boston, Raleigh, Naples, Dallas, Austin, Denver, San Francisco, the Twin Cities and Los Angeles.

R. Scott Gemmill’s The Pitt features Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch.

The drama follows a team of healthcare workers in Pittsburgh.

The cast includes Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Sepideh Moafi.

Produced by John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television, the series became a critical darling, winning five Emmy Awards in its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series and Lead Actor for Wyle.

It also won a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series and was named one of AFI’s Top Ten TV Shows of 2025.

With Season 3 already greenlit, the theatrical rollout of the Season 2 finale reflects the series’ cultural impact and HBO Max’s desire to create event-style experiences around its most famous titles.
