A police officer was shot dead by unidentified attackers in the city of Orangi de Karachi, near Aman Chowk from Khairabad, Express News reported.
The officer, identified as 40 -year -old, Imran, was seriously injured during the attack and died of his injuries during his transport to the hospital.
According to reports from Chhipa authorities, the officer was uniform and service in the mangopir police station at the time of the attack.
The initial surveys suggest that three unknown attackers continued and shot the officer.
SSP West spokesperson confirmed that the police had recovered seven bullet shells at crime scene, and additional investigations are underway.
The governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, had previously called for urgent action to combat street crimes and public security, urging rapid responses such as the arrest of AFAQ Ahmed. During a meeting with Federal Minister Mohin Naqvi, Tessori also discussed security, police and cricket promotion, praising the renovation of the National Stadium.
Meanwhile, the president of MQM, AFAQ Ahmed, as well as 10 others, were referred to judicial detention concerning accusations linked to violence incentive, in particular the fire of an oil tanker in Landhi.
The prosecutor argued that it was an act of terrorism, while the defense attributed it to the frustration of the public concerning the question of the creation of live by accelerating waste in the city.
The court then rejected the request for pre -trial detention and sent Ahmed to prison.
