If we had to choose a sequence of essentials for a prosperous nation, I would put the rationality of their process of reflection at the top. It is my firm conviction that, without exercising this power, a state is found with little credibility to improve its lot or that of its citizens.
It is also regrettable that, since independence, the assets that we have constantly compromised are the references of this important day. In addition to making them subordinate to certain poorly designed compulsions from foreign countries, we have also compromised them by practicing policies aimed at enlarging personal profits preferably to the guarantee of collective national interests. Today, we appear as a captive state bank for the subsistence more on the support that we can obtain from the outside than internal efforts integrated into the unit and cohesion. Such an expenditure makes a cardinal sign of weakness, no strength.
To harvest the fruits of our independence, we must review the discourse that Quaid delivered from the word of the first constituent assembly of the country on August 11, 1947, as well as many others, including that where he sent public service agents in Peshawar. It was clear and candid to portray the essential elements that the state of the newborn should marry.
He underlined the centrality of freedom as equal citizens of the country beyond the limits of faith, caste, color or belief. He then underlined the sovereignty of the legislative body and the enormous responsibility he places on the shoulders of the leaders to defend him. He nicknamed corruption and corruption as curses and underlined the need to eliminate them.
Addressing Peshawar officials, he urged them not to be victims of pressure and to do their duty as servants of the State and the People, not from the government in power at a given time.
If we had to carry out an objective analysis of the events of the last decades, we would know that it was the very values that have been barbaric with personal gains. Thanks to a sinister process of politicizing the interests of the state, the concept of freedom, the sacred nature of civil and other services and the need to protect the sovereignty of the State were all compromised to the altar of the improvement of the personal wealth and the power of the ruling elite and their cohorts Copriner.
Although the state has suffered in terms of economic solvency and loss of stature among the commits of nations, it was the people who have brought the weight of a series of these crimes by losing their dignity and their self -respect on the one hand and the prospect of their growth and their progress on the other.
The main cause of all these achievements can be attributed to the placement of unnecessary borders on the freedom of thought of the people. Intellectual activity and commitment create the necessary space for nations to recognize their true destiny and draw a course to achieve this. By degrading people to drive like brain -free lambs by the corrupt ruling elite, the national landscape would be sterile of ideas and momentum. Stagnation would automatically settle, which generates nausea.
It is the responsibility that such an intellectual activity can cultivate several stories which can be quite different from each other, but each of them would carry its own weight. When the objective is clear, this diversity appears to be the essence of the intellectual thought process. We do not throw stones from those with whom we can differ. We do not enter them with accusations loaded with invective. We do not take them from a load sheet, fustigons as traitors and forms in the alienation of the dominant societal current. Like everyone, they deserve to be there to make their contribution and help the state move forward.
Although this was a coherent tradition during the years of our existence, we recently attended a rapid escalation as part of these borders, which have hindered the prospect of our intellectual growth and the resulting national salvation. A palpable fear syndrome permeates the environment, forcing people to resort to stay locked up while waiting for an improvement to settle, or to plan to leave the country by collecting funds by liquidating their derisory assets.
With nearly four million people who would have left in the past three years, this emigration is equivalent to a massive exodus, showing the hope that a majority of citizens are committed to living here. No state can prosper in the midst of these depressing conditions.
In the process, mental health and rationality become the main victims. While the world is becoming more and more divided, it is increasingly necessary to prioritize pragmatic and wise thought for the construction of a lasting platform to deal with emerging challenges. But the opposite seems to be the model where a countertopinion, born of concern and sincerity, is interpreted as opposing to national interests and the individual is subject to the most severe treatment, without excluding the possibility of spending time in prison, using a sequence of vicious legislation which are adopted with an alarming frequency. Already, the institution of an independent judicial power has been treated a death knell, thus buried the possibility of the service of justice in the country.
These conditions are not conducive to the generation of political stability, which endangers the perspective of economic growth. We depend on the support of international institutions and the Dole-Outs in friendly countries. Instead of considering stages to decrease and ultimately eliminate this embarrassing dependence on external sources, this scourge increases over time. In fact, each financial support guaranteed for any quarter is presented as a great success and celebrated in glowing terms. Such behavior is not only depressing; It is deeply humiliating.
We have to go back to the basics. Not only have we forgotten our fundamental ideals, but we have built a monstrous structure based on borrowed pillars. In the absence of internal cohesion and unit, as well as any authentic effort to solve these problems, we will probably continue to decrease. The governance approach requires a complete overhaul.
The objective of a stable and autonomous state cannot be achieved by blocking intellectual space with coercive measures. We must explore the power of rationality to unite people in a peace and security environment, without threat of violence. It is just as important to stop insulting them by calling them terrorists and traitors. They are not. They only exercise their right to postpone.
