- The CEO of AMD, Lisa su, indicates more on Ryzen Ai Max Apus to come on Office PCs
- Some of the APUs were used in the framework offices
- It could be the beginning of the discreet gpu alpus
While the new GPUs of AMD and AMD ranges are at the forefront of PC Gaming News, Team Red processors are about to take the projectors: the APU Ryzen AI Max have been mainly reserved for laptops, providing enough power to perform the demanding triple-a games, but that could change very soon.
In an interview with Deepseek exploded on Bilibili, the CEO of AMD, Lisa Su, hinted by more Ryzen Ai Max processors heading towards the office space. We have seen the high -end processor (Ryzen AI 395+) in some mini -PCs and laptops, which provide exceptional performance results in games – and we could see the same results for even more office PC.
Thanks to the Ryzen Ai Max + 395’s Radeon 8060s IGPU with 40 GPU RDNA cores 3.5 and 16 CPU cores with 32 wires, the game works very well above 1080p. It is obvious in the tests of PC of office framework of Eta Prime on YouTube: an excellent example is Cyberpunk 2077, Its image frequency oscillates between 55 and 60 images per second with ultra graphic parameters at 1440p.
It should also be noted that FSR 4 could make its way to DNA 3 – it is currently reserved for DNA 4 – and this could be incredibly beneficial for systems supplied by the APU.
The important thing is that all this is possible without a discreet GPU, and with an office PC, it could do wonders for efficiency. Although it does not correspond to high -end office GPUs, it always has a punch and could be the beginning of something new – or perhaps, the start of the end for discreet GPUs.
If we can get stronger APUs earlier, it may be time to pass for discreet GPUs
For a long time, discreet GPUs for laptops and office PCs have been the first way to go simple for great gaming experiences. Now it is gradually starting to change with Apus becoming more powerful: it is obvious with portable play PCs like Asus Rog Ally, Lenovo Legion Go and the recent MSI Claw 8 AI + using the ultra 7 258V basic processor.
Although the high-end Ryzen Ai Max fleas have not yet been used in portable game PCs, these are the ideal chips for mini-PC configurations. Discreet GPUs (especially GPUS) offer fantastic performance at all levels but use a lot of power – however, this will not be the case with an AI Max + 395.
Technology moves faster than ever, and Apus is the perfect example. If we manage to obtain more powerful APUs in the predictable future, we could simply see a slow foundation of discreet mid -range GPUs – and perhaps a strong rival of current consoles (if PC prices are reasonable, anyway).
