Karachi:
The unofficial results of the by -elections of 28 local government seats in 14 Sindh districts, including three in Karachi, showed that the Pakistani peoples party emerged as the first row.
The Pakistan Electoral Commission has so far published unofficial results for 20 seats. According to preliminary figures, PPP candidates won the victory over 17 seats, while Jamaat-E-Islami, the Grand Democratic Alliance and an independent candidate won a seat each.
The survey started at 8 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m. The rate of participation of voters has remained relatively low in several constituencies. The overall survey process would have remained peaceful, however, certain sporadic incidents of troubles were reported in Karachi.
The courses were detained for six presidents, seven vice-presidents, 13 members general and two district council. About 243,187 voters (133,038 men and 110,154 women) were eligible to vote at 168 polling stations.
The main political parties, including PPP, Jamaat-E-Islami, Jui-F, TLP and PML-N, presented their candidates, while several independents supported by the PTI were also in the race.

Karachi’s by -law elections took place on five seats in the East, West and Keamari districts, with 54 candidates in scrum. According to the unofficial results, Shahroza Ahmed of PPP obtained the Siege Vice-President of the UC-8 of Sohrab Goth with 1,790 votes, defeating the independent candidate Jaleel Ahmed Mughhiri, who obtained 166 votes.
The PPP also won the general seat of Karachi Bhitt Shah Town Committee with 714 votes, while its two independent rivals managed to have not succeeded four votes.
In the city of Baldia de Karachi UC-8, Mohammad PPP PPP came out victorious in the race for the vice-president, obtaining 3,132 votes. The independent candidate Hasnain Ali Chauhan followed with 1,084 votes, while Yasir Hayat of Jamaat-E-Islami dragged with 796.
In the MANGHOPIR UC-10, PPP candidate Stephen Masih won the Vice-President seat with 891 votes, while Awami’s national party candidate obtained 324 votes, according to unofficial results.
PPP candidate Shehnila Amir won the president’s headquarters at Orangi UC-1 with 3,801 votes. TLP candidate Muhammad Ali obtained second place with 1,787 votes, while Muhammad Khurshid Alam from Jamaat-E-Islami finished third with 1,288 votes.
In the Ward-4 of Orangi Town, the Mohammad Bilal Naseer of Jamaat-E-Islami narrowly outstripped the Sheikh Azhar of PPP by obtaining 791 votes against 749.
Strong force in other sindh districts
Apart from Karachi, PPP maintained its domination in other parts of the Sindh. In the UC-64 of the Dadu District, the PPP candidate won the headquarters of the district members with 554 votes. In the same district, his candidate of the District Council obtained a convincing victory with 2,144 votes.
In Mirpurkhas, the PPP candidate to the UC-53 vice-president collected 3,186 votes, which comfortably won an independent rival which could only obtain 540 votes.
In the UC-20 of Rohri in Sukkur, the PPP candidate triumphed by 2,677 votes, beating the candidate of Jui-F, who obtained 765. In Makki Shah Town, Sukkur, Nazir Ahmed de PPP won the general seat with 450 votes.
The domination of the PPP spread to Matli UC-5 in Badin, where his candidate for the president’s headquarters collected 2,218 votes. In Khairpur, the party won two victories, a member seat of the city committee with 879 votes and the presidency of the UC-12 with 3,708 votes, beating Mukhtiar Ahmed de Gda, who received 417.

Independent candidates also recorded victories. In the Mirpurkhas UC-20, Owais obtained 338 votes for the headquarters of the general member, leaving Mohammad Rafiq from TLP with 71 votes.
In the UC-12 of THTA, the candidate vice-president of the PPP came out victorious with 1,281 votes against the independent candidate Waqas Ahmed who obtained 261 votes.
The ruling party has also published consecutive victories in the Umerkot district, where its candidates dominated the competitions for the district council seats and the president of the Union council.
For the headquarters of the District Council in Umerkot, the PPP candidate won 4,080 votes, comfortably beating an independent competitor who succeeded 902 votes.
In the UC-19 of the same district, the PPP victories sequence continued while their candidate obtained 4,134 votes in the president’s race. The nearest rival, an independent candidate, received 977 votes.
However, a notable exception to PPP’s performance came in UC-41 of Umerkot, where Mohammad Daim from GDA obtained 1,256 votes, deeply beating Aptab Ali from PPP, which received only three votes.
The ECP noted that out of 67 by -elections provided through the Sindh, 33 candidates were elected without opposition. No appointment was filed in two constituencies, while the documents for the appointment of three candidates were rejected. A candidate has voluntarily withdrew from the competition.
Survey disturbances
Although the ECP has described the process as ordered, minor disturbances broke out in Karachi. Apart from the polling stations in UC-10 of Manghopir Town and UC-8 of the City of Baldia, the confrontations between the rival political groups turned into short warm-up before the police intervened to control the situation.
In an ORAGI Town UC-1 Polling Polly, tensions increased when militants of a religious party allegedly allegedly alleged irregularities. High police officials and additional forces have been called to defuse tension.
The commissioner in the provincial elections subsequently requested reports from district surveillance agents and return following complaints of elections for elections and alleged alleged. However, ECP officials rejected the accusations of irregularities, insisting that the routes were led in a largely peaceful atmosphere.
