The president diagnosed a cochable

Islamabad:

The personal doctor of President Asif Ali Zardari, Dr. Asim Hussain, confirmed on Wednesday that the president had been tested positive for COVID-19, adding that his state of health was improving regularly.

In a statement published by President House Press Wing, Dr. Asim said that a dedicated team of medical experts closely monitored his condition and provided the necessary medical care.

Dr. Asim Hussain also said that because of the nature of the disease, the president had been advisable to stay in isolation.

President Zardari was transferred to a private hospital in Karachi in Nawabshah – after having encountered health problems.

In addition, the main minister of Sindh, Sharjeel, Memon, refuted the health reports of Zardari and said that his health was improving.

In a statement, Memon said that the reports suggesting that President Zardari was transferred to Dubai for medical treatment was not true and that the latter would soon be completely recovered.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had inquired about the health of President Zardari via a telephone call.

The Prime Minister prayed for the early recovery of the president, adding that the prayers of the whole nation were with the president.

The president of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq held a telephone conversation with President Zardari to find out about his well-being.

The year’s president expressed his best wishes for the president’s health and prayed for his rapid recovery. During the conversation, Sadiq transmitted his hopes for the complete recovery of Zardari.

Sindh governor Kamran Tessori also contacted President Zardari’s doctor, Dr. Asim Hussain, to find out about the head of state health and wish him good luck.
