The president of Nintendo of America Doug Bowser may have teased the next main line Super mario Game for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Addressing CNN after the Big Switch 2 direct, Bowser was asked about the notable absence of a new main line Mario Game for Switch 2, something that much expected to be revealed, given the massive success of Super Mario Odyssey Latest generation.
Bowser has not confirmed or denies that a new main line Mario Game is developing for the new laptop, but he dropped a clue that suggested that Nintendo has plans for the series.
“Stay listening,” said Bowser. “You know, we have a long and long catalog and a long list of (intellectual property) which, I am sure, will make its way to the platform.”
Although there will be no new Super mario game to wait anytime, Mario Kart World was officially announced and will be launched alongside Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will cost $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for the Mario Kart World Bundle which includes a digital copy of the coming game.
Pre-orders are now live in the United Kingdom. American pre -orders should start on April 24 after Nintendo delayed its initial date of April 9, as it assessed the potential impact of prices.
