The price of gasoline is likely to increase for the next 15 days

Oil prices in Pakistan are expected to increase up to Rs 5.50 per liter for the next 15 days, due to an increase in world oil prices, sources revealed on Sunday.

According to reports, the Advisory Council for Oil Companies (OCAC) has completed a working document based on recent international market trends.

The oil and gas regulatory authority (OGRA) is expected to send its summary to the federal government today.

The final decision will rest with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who will approve any modification of fuel prices according to OGRA recommendations. New prices will be implemented once approved.

According to the proposed summary, the price of high -speed diesel could increase by Rs 5.27 per liter, while petrol can see an increase in RS1,12 per liter.

In addition, kerosene can increase by RS4.16 and light diesel oil from RS4.13 per liter.
