- PS5 digital edition has seen price increases in certain regions

To date (April 14, 2025), the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition has been struck by another wave of price increase in certain regions. But there are good news for the owners of Ps5 Pro who are looking to take the disc.
Announced via an official PlayStation blog article, Sony confirmed that the PS5 price will increase in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Society has cited “a difficult economic environment, including high inflation and fluctuating exchange rates” as key reasons for the “difficult decision”.
In the United Kingdom and Europe, there was no change in prices for the standard PS5. Otherwise, you can see the current changes here:

The new prices in these regions have reflected on PlayStation Direct, the official Sony showcase for PlayStation products, including the PS5. However, you may still be lucky to other retailers if you are currently on the console market.
For example, in the United Kingdom, Argos currently has the digital edition PS5 grouped with Astro A very respectful of portfolios £ 339.99 at the moment.
