The railways that should act as Islamabad Express probe is relying responsibility

The investigation into the Islamabad Express train accident was completed and the report was sent to the Ministry of Railways.

After receiving the conclusions, the Minister of Railways, Hanif Abbasi, is expected to initiate legal proceedings against persons deemed responsible in the coming days.

It is relevant to note that Islamabad Express was involved in an accident near Kala Shah Kaku on August 1. Up to 25 passengers were injured in the incident, while five bogies derailed and overthrown.

Following the tragic accident, the Minister of Railways ordered an investigation and ordered that a report be submitted in a week. Acting on these instructions, the federal inspector of railways Amir Nisar Chaudhry was appointed manager of the investigation. He inspected the accident site and collected evidence.

During the investigation, statements were recorded with the driver of the train, the assistant train driver, the custody, the special ticket examiner and the railway police staff, in addition to the managers of the mechanical, electric and civil services of the railways.

After the accident, a team of three members made up of mechanical, traffic, commercial and civil engineering officials published its first joint certificate report. According to the preliminary results, the accident was caused by the dismantling of the track joint.
