Commentators have just revealed the only reason Andrew was never really close to Wales.
British royal expert Hilary Fordwich is the commentator in question and she shared it all with Fox News Digital.
According to its findings, “the feud between Prince William and Prince Andrew began primarily due to Andrew’s jealousy and resulting disparaging remarks about Kate Middleton.”
“Prince William was furious,” from that moment on. He is particularly known for “being fiercely protective” of his wife.
This is why “he instituted a zero-tolerance policy towards any capricious behavior or scandal involving Prince Andrew,” admitted the expert.
But as far as Andrew was concerned, it became “all the more intimidating” as he had essentially become “his mother’s ‘golden boy’ since he was considered Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite.”
As a result, Ms. Fordwich explains, “her resentment grew with her plummeting popularity and was then exacerbated by Kate’s self-importance and assertiveness.”
What is relevant to mention is that this claim comes just months before commentator Richard Kay revealed in a Daily Mail article that the former Duke and his nephew were at odds over Kate.
At the time he wrote, “differences between monarch and heir remained, particularly regarding the Prince Andrew scandal. William has long resented Andrew for his lack of welcome when he first introduced Kate Middleton to the royal family and believes his father was too gentle with him. »
