Abdul Carter may be a recruit, but the New York Giants Edge Rusher is a experienced veteran when it comes to talking.
Carter had what some could call a moment of “welcome to the NFL” in the second pre-season game of the Giants, while the tightstone of the New York jets raised it with a block of flea market in the second quarter on Saturday evening.
And if that was not enough, the jets on the right Takele Chukwuma Okorafor took advantage of the product of Penn State on the lawn, while he continued to keep it there with a few boost during the game.

The NFL displayed the game on X, but Carter was quick to launch a joke on the jets after seeing it itself.
“Could be the only highlight of jets all season [down arrow emoji] And we put BTA. Low a-chip ate this MF as BBQ, “wrote Carter on X.

Some X users did not like Carter’s comments on the game, telling him that it is only a pre-season game and not to take it too hard.
But Carter’s confidence has never hesitated, going back to his days of Nittany Lions. Since the Giants took him third in total in April, it was quite apparent when he was preparing for his recruit season.
Despite this point of view, he was mainly protruding facts for Carter on the training field as well as for the two games he played for New York this pre-season. The giants and jets had joint practices this week leading to the “Snoopy Bowl” in their Metlife stadium shared the house, and Carter was impressive with its teammates on the defensive line, according to reports.

Last week, Carter only played a handful of shots against the Buffalo Bills, an AFC East Jets rival, where he created the three-back pressure on the three, according to Nextgen’s statistics.
The giants hope that the coherent pressure that Carter has shown in Penn State translates into the level of the NFL, and so far, it looks in this way.
But Carter may have just created a certain tension between these two New York franchises which are only played in the regular season every four years. They played for the last time in the regular season in 2023, where the jets beat the giants, 13-10, in overtime.

The jets won the last three games against the Giants, although Big Blue took the previous five against Gang Green.
Carter and the Giants will have their last pre-season match Thursday evening at home against the New England Patriots.
