THE Nebraska football The program went far in search of the special team player Archie Wilson. The Australian native gave his first press conference on Tuesday since he entered the Huskers and was in tears when he was asked to be so far from his family.
Wilson, who was 19 years old this week, spoke enthusiastically about his move from Victoria, Australia, in the United States.

“It really corresponds to my skills and overall,” Wilson told journalists on Tuesday. “It is the coach, people and the program that make the program what it is so that I tell myself that it was the ideal place.”

Wilson said that he had well known the “culture side” of America and has a relatively good understanding of Nebraska, adding: “I knew the program, so I was not completely unconscious from where I was going to live the next four years.”
But the first -year bettor became emotional when he asked him questions about his family and how he faces being so far from home.
“Yeah, this part is difficult. I’m sorry,” said Wilson, when he stopped emotion.

“Yeah, I love them very much. I have two little brothers and my mother and my father and I – yes, it’s the difficult part to be here. I love them a lot, and I miss them. But they know that is what is best for me.”
Wilson added that he remained in constant communication with his family and that relatives will make a trip to Nebraska to see his first games, the first of which will be played at the home of the Chiefs of Kansas City.
“I am really excited. I am not normally too nervous with regard to things. It is a whole different level, but I am more excited. Huge crown. Trex of arrow. Thursday evening. It does not become much bigger.”

Wilson played Australian Rules Football for Haileybury College before joining Nebraska this summer. He was also a member of Prokick Australia, which, according to the school website, had 29 bettors Nfl and CFL.
The Nebraska opens his season at the Arrowhead stadium Cincinnati bearcates August 28.
