The river flows through Pakistan

Islamabad:

India’s efforts to stifle the flow of river water in Pakistan seem to have failed while the total entrances to the country’s main rivers jumped after 236,000 CUSCES, according to data collected on Saturday.

The latest figures reveal that the cumulative influx in rivers across Pakistan reached 236,000 CUSECs, the Chenab river with the Marala head alone receiving 66,000 CUSCS.

In Mangla, the influx in the Jhelum river was recorded at 50,000 brains. The industrial river in Tarbela saw an influx of 83,000 brackets, while the Kabul river of Nowshera recorded an influx of 36,000 CUSECs.

Currently, total water storage usable in the main tanks in Pakistan is 1.979 million acres.

In addition, around 2,000 brackets of water flow in the Oman Sea.

The last water situation depicts a table of abundance despite recent threats from New Delhi and hostile rhetoric surrounding the Industry Water Treaty.

According to the WAPDA, the influx of Tarbela was 83,400 brackets, with an exit of 55,000 brackets.

In Mangla, the influx was recorded at 50,100 cuses, while the exit was 32,000 brackets. In the case of the Chenab river with the Marala head, the influx was noted at 40,900 Cuses and the exit of 26,700 Cuses.

The Kabul River of Nowshera recorded both an influx and an exit of 36,700 brackets. At the Chashma dam, the entries were recorded at 101,700 cuses and outings at 78,000 brackets.

As for the tank levels, the water level in Tarbela on May 3 was 1,435.66 feet with a storage capacity of 658,000 acres. In Mangla, the water level amounted to 1,134.80 feet, the tank with 1.164 million acres.

The chashma tank recorded a water level of 645.50 feet with 157,000 stored water acres.

Combined, the three tanks – Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma – held 1.979 million acres of usable water.

A WAPDA spokesperson said that the inputs and exit figures for Tarbela, Chashma, Mangla and Nowshera reflect the average speed of 24 hours, while the data from the other stations were recorded at 6:00 am this morning.

Meanwhile, the Industry River System Authority (IRSA) released on Saturday 190 200 water records from various rim stations with an influx of 236,700 Cuses.
