Rockies have the worst record in 59 games from any major leagues team in modern baseball (since 1901). The team was swept away 10 times in 20 series, tied for the most swepts in the 20 series with the 1962 dishes, the 1960 Milwaukee Brewers and the 1994 Oakland Athletics.
USA Today noted that the Rockies played the most matches without winning their 10th victory, with only four teams in the history of sport after playing 55 or more games before winning at least 10. These teams include the Colonels of Louisville 1985, 1886 Washington Nationals, 1899 Cleveland Spiders and the 1904 Senators of Washington.
The dishes won the Sunday’s match, 5-3, behind the Home Run of Pete Alonso and the Francisco Lindor circuit. Juan Soto also added a dinger to his statistics sheet.

The team found the only possession of first place in the National League East. The team has won the last 26 games in which Lindor dominated. It is the second longest sequence of its kind since the 29 consecutive victories of the Brooklyn Dodgers when Carl Furillo struck a Home Run from 1951 to 1953.
The rocky season does not become easier after having already drawn Bud Black in May. The team continues their road trip Monday against the Miami Marlins.
