- We have another leak around the Open 2 OnePlus
- Macro support on the telephoto camera is supposed
- The foldable will first appear as the Oppo finds N5
Oppo has been busy teasing the next Oppo Find N5, which will be almost certainly sold like the Open 2 Open 2 outside China, and the last rumor suggests that the handset will have a particular camera upgrade – level which, even high -level flagship products, such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra does not offer.
According to the famous Computer Science Smart Pikachu (via Android Authority), the Oppo Find N5 – and therefore the OnePlus Open 2 – will come with a macro -photography support on its telephoto lens, offering additional flexibility for close plans.
This means the possibility of taking close -ups without having to get closer to everything you turn – it is the advantage of having a macro support on the telephoto camera, rather than including with the device Standard primary photo.
Although the functionality is on a few handsets, it is not something that Samsung, Google or Apple have added to their phones – you can therefore get more photo flexibility from the Open 2 than the Pixel 9 Pro or L ‘iPhone 16.
Rumors and teases
We have seen a lot of unofficial leaks and official teasing with regard to this foldable phone. Some serious upgrades are apparently on the way, including a large 5,900 mAh battery, waterproofing and a bump with Elite Snapdragon 8 chipset.
It will apparently be the thinnest foldable to hit the market, and the leaders of Oppo have published images showing how thin – with an image comparing it to the iPad Pro powered by Apple M4.
What we are not yet sure is exactly when the handset is going to be launched, although it should not be far now. A rumor underlined the OnePlus Open 2 for sale in the second half of 2025, although we hope to see it earlier.
As you can see from our review OnePlus Open, we are big fans of the original folding phone of OnePlus – and that means that we are looking forward to seeing what a new improved version brings to the best foldable market.
