The party is still opting for Sam Reinhart and the Florida Panthers, when they won consecutive victories of the Stanley Cup after their victory for match 6 against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.
“Not yet too much sleep, but we are doing very well,” joked Reinhart, speaking with PK Press Club Digital during an appearance celebrating the victory of the Cup with Panthers fans to raise it Cane’s in Tamarac, Florida.
“I was just saying:” Who said it was not a hockey city? “You go here, it will change your mind very quickly.”

For Reinhart, it was a match that he will not forget after scoring four goals in the 5-1 victory on the ice at home. Thus, the celebration started long before the final horn sounded in bringing Bank Arena.
The panthers transported the cup everywhere through the sun and the surrounding cities, including Captain Aleksander Barkov striking at the gates of his neighbors at 5 am in the morning after the victory to share the excitement.
It is a feeling that Reinhart and many other teammates felt last year when they defeated the same Oilers, winning match 7 to collect the trophy. Reinhart admits that it is better the second time.

“I think there was a moment, maybe a day ago, when it was like” we were there, we already did “, and very quickly it changed your state of mind,” he said. “In many cases, it’s sweeter than the first, so we will enjoy this moment.”
Florida has been the first team since 2020 and 2021 Tampa Bay Lightning to win Stanley consecutive cuts. So, the following question is obvious: are Panthers a dynasty?
Better still, do they need this third consecutive victory for the Stanley Cup to be cemented as one?

Reinhart gave the perfect answer when he was asked if his squad was on the verge of winning the label of the dynasty.
“I mean, it’s a bit of mind [is]”He said.” We have always been a bit from day to day, and last year, when they asked for a rehearsal, we focused on the benefit of the first.
“So when the time comes, we know that we will be ready and that we will be motivated. But we will stay in the moment as we have done all the playoffs.”
Reinhart also addressed the talent that the team added to the deadline for trade, including heroes of the Brad Marchand and Seth Jones qualifying series, who quickly blocked with their new teammates.
“It’s incredible,” said Reinhart about newcomers who helped the Panthers win everything. “To see the new guys enter and intervene in major situations, it was quite special. We have some competitors on and out of the ice, so we have fun.”

As Reinhart said, the celebration will continue and the panthers will live in the moment. But while the managing director Bill Zito reiterated the same on Tuesday evening, he also noted his desire to obtain the Sam Bennett center, the winner of the Conn Smythe trophy, Aaron Ekblad, Marchand and Nate Schmidt under contract to do a race for three consecutive games next season.
These conversations will come, but Reinhart knows that the panthers will be ready to defend their title once again when the washer will descend for the 2025-26 season.
