- The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could have a wider opening for two of its cameras
- It can also be thinner and lighter than the ultra S25, and have a faster load
- However, the main sensor may not change, and there are disagreements on the question of whether the battery will increase in size
There was a wave of ultra rumors of Samsung Galaxy S26 in the last day, and they are largely promising – pointing improved cameras, higher load speeds, and even more, but there are elements with advice that seems less positive.
From the cameras, the renowned Tipster @universeice said that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a new lens with a wider opening for its main 200MP camera. This should improve photos of low light in particular, but they suggest that all kinds of photos taken with this lens will benefit from it, which is apparently “the most obvious upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra”.
So, it seems certainly promising, although what is less promising, is that this new objective will apparently not be combined with a new sensor, the Isocell HP2 supposed to be used again.
Breakingļ¼ Galaxy S26 Ultra: HP2 + Large openingļ¼ will considerably increase the input of light, will improve the low quality of light and improve all existing problems. The real effect it brings will be the most obvious upgrade from Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.July 25, 2025
The same source has made many other claims on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on the Chinese social media site Weibo, including its 5x 50 Mp telephoto lens will also have a wider opening than on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
On the same site, they also declared that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have less than 8 mm thick, which is down 8.2 mm for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It will also be a few lighter grams apparently than the 218g Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Faster load and discussed capacity
Unfortunately, as a slimming the phone, Samsung may not leave space for a larger battery, this source also claiming that this will again happen to 5,000 mAh. But it will apparently take care of at least a higher 60W – against 45 W on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
And there is some disagreement on the battery side, with the leak @ chunvn8888 saying that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will actually have a larger 5,500 mAh battery and a load of 65 W.
They also have a solid assessment, although, given the apparent reluctance of Samsung to go beyond the batteries of 5,000 mAh, we suspect that @universeice is right in this case.
We will probably know with certainty at the beginning of 2026, because it is at this time that the whole Samsung Galaxy S26 line is likely to launch.
