- The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could use an Elite Snapdragon 8 chipset rather than exynos 2500
- We also hear that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 could cost more than its predecessor
- However, it could at least be very thin
One of the most worrying rumors of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 that we heard is that he could use an Exynos 2500 chipset, because even if it would be an upgrade on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 used by the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, it is not the most desirable chipset.
It would be the Snapdragon 8 elite, which is the successor to the Gen 3, and probably more capable than the Samsung Exynos alternative. But now there is hope that we could get the Snapdragon 8 elite after all.
The Greek techmaniacs site claims to have learned that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 will use this chipset, as well as to have a larger battery than its 4300mAh predecessor, a larger 4 -inch cover screen (up to 3.4 inches on the Z Flip 6), and the same conviviation of 50 megapixels and 12MP with ultra wide.
With the exception of the chipset, these are things we have heard before, and although most of the previous leaks have indicated an Exynos 2500 chipset, it was suggested that there are Galaxy Z Flip 7 prototypes with the two chipsets.
Thus, TechManiacs is not totally alone to say that the Snapdragon 8 elite will be used. But if Samsung prototyed the two versions, it is possible that the company has still not decided, either that some regions will use one and others.
Turn on the fold
In any case, Techmaniacs also shared some details on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, saying that it would only be 8.2 mm thick when it is folded, which would make the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold of 12.1 mm.
They also say that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset – although unlike the Z Flip 7, it has always been said for the Z Fold 7.
In addition, as the rumor said before, it could have a new main camera of 200 MP (up to 50 Mp on the Galaxy Z Fold 6), joined by the same ultra-widive and 10MP 3X 12 MP telephotive cameras as last year.
Finally, it will apparently cost around € 100 (around $ 115 / £ 85 / $ 180 in) more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, although we took this with a pinch of salt, because the other rumors of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 put it at the same price as last year.
We should find out exactly how much the Samsung Galaxy Z Plit 7 costs – and everything else on this and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 – fairly soon, because rumors suggest that the two phones will land in July.
