- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 are due in July
- We may have to wait longer for the galaxy z flip fe cheaper
- The phone could include the Exynos 2500 chip
Samsung has a multitude of foldable phones in the wings ready for later this year, but it is not clear exactly when we will be able to get their hands on it – and a new rumor suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip Fe could be the phone that we expect the longest.
According to the South Korean output, the bell (via 9TO5google), the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Fe – considered as a cheaper leaf phone option – will launch several months after the most expensive Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, expected in July.
The main problem, according to the report, is that Samsung is struggling to do enough chips for the foldable. The company aims to obtain its own Exynos 2500 chip inside the Galaxy Z Flip Fe, but the problems continue with production.
These same production problems were part of the reason why the Samsung Galaxy S25 series went with Qualcomm Chips. The slices of silicon exynos have missed with these flagship phones, and it seems that they can miss again with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Display and specifications
While Samsung continues to work on the production of Exynos 2500, it seems that the development of exynos 2600 is now well in progress (something that was previously published). Samsung’s goal is to make sure that this next series is ready for the Samsung Galaxy S26 range.
Over the past years, Samsung has mixed the chipsets used in its phones, depending on the region and the model: Exynos chips are cheaper for Samsung, although they generally do not correspond to the power of Qualcomm Snapdragon alternatives.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Fe, we plan that it will come with the same screen as the Galaxy Z Flip 7, but a less powerful camera and overall specifications. The phone was even teased early by Samsung itself.
However, none of this is certain yet – Samsung’s plans remain in the air for its outing calendar in 2025. The well -known guardian @maxjmb suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip FLI could indeed be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, most likely in July.
