- A user interface 8 (based on Android 16) could be launched early
- He could make his debut on the next foldables of Samsung
- A IU 7 deploys more widely this week
The ONE UI 7 update (Android 15) made its appropriate debut on the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones in January, and should move to other devices next week – but it seems that UI 8 (Android 16) will soon be ready to go also, because it is to be presented to present itself on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
These two folders should arrive at July, and sources that are addressed to Samobile say that they will come with an 8 on board user interface rather than on a user interface 7. It is a surprisingly fast turnaround for the next Samsung software upgrade.
However, it corresponds to the expected version calendar of Android 16: we know that Google is eager to obtain the update of the major software update of this year to the phones in June, and we have already had several months of beta tests for the next version of the mobile operating system.
For comparison, Android 15 began to appear on Pixel Phones in October 2024, but now that Google has moved to the launch of its flagship handsets in August – more recently, the Pixel 9 series – must also prepare Android earlier, ideally.
What we have heard so far
We have not heard much about a user interface 8 to date, but probably, Samsung will follow the parade by Android 16. The next major update for the Google mobile operating system will improve the management of the desktop mode and the upgrade of the health features available on your handset, as well as the addition of features to disconcert the phone thieves.
We have also heard a lot about the coming foldables of Samsung. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, for example, will apparently be thinner than its predecessor, and should get the habit of the hood speed – and perhaps even better cameras.
Regarding the Galaxy Z Flip 7, rumors suggest that it will be delivered with a full -size cover screen for the first time, although the design can remain the same (just like RAM and storage options). The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 apparently get a better battery life, due to more efficient screens.
There was also talk of a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip SE and perhaps a foldable Samsung to three times too, which could all be launched at the same time as the other combined – and at the same time as the One UI 8 upgrade.
