The Saudi crown prince firmly condemns Israel’s attack on Iran

The crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman, strongly condemned the strikes of Israel on Iran, calling them a violation of international law.

In a telephone conversation with the president of Iran, the president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the crown prince declared that the attacks had undermined the sovereignty and national security of Iran, according to the Saudi news agency.

He warned that Israeli military action had derailed the ongoing efforts to resolve tensions on the Iranian nuclear program and harmed attempts to calm the situation by dialogue and diplomacy.

The crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman, reiterated the opposition of the Kingdom to the use of force to resolve disputes, stressing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve differences.

His remarks occurred during a telephone call with the newly elected president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, after the Israeli missile strikes on Iran on Friday – a rare and fatal escalation which left at least 78 dead, including military officers, nuclear scientists and senior officials.

The two countries continued to exchange other strikes on Saturday morning on Sunday morning.

The crown prince offered his condolences to President Pezeshkian, the Iranian people and the families of those who killed, and expressed hope for a rapid recovery for those who were injured.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked King Salman of Saudi Arabia for ensuring the well-being of Iranian pilgrims during the Hajj and for having provided gentle services until their return safely at home.

In addition, the crown prince held a separate telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss the benefits of the recent military strikes from Israel on Iran.

In his call with Starmer, the crown prince discussed the latest developments and underlined the need to intensify efforts to mitigate tensions and resolve disputes through diplomacy, according to the Saudi news agency.

The Crown Prince also spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the midst of increasing regional tensions after Iran’s strikes on Israel.

The two leaders examined the situation in the region in the light of the growing conflict.
