Place on the Hallmark and Hallmark + channel from August 2, 2025, Providence falls is a new series of three -part films after Cora (Katie Stevens) and Liam (Lachlan Quartby), two cops have teamed up to try to resolve a flight case. While the flight becomes much more sinister, Cora does not know at all that Liam is not at all a cop, but a lover of a past life sent in time to try to make her fall in love with her “destiny” in the colleague Finn (Evan Roderick).
Does that seem familiar? Well, the time travel element should at least. Although the basic romance can be torn off directly from one of the famous Hallmark Fames, there is another series on the platform that can transport you instantly in another historical chronology: The way to the house. Featuring Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, the show tells the story of the Landry family, who find that they can travel over time towards different points in their shared history by jumping in the pond at the end of their garden (as you do). Season 4 should be broadcast in early 2026, and we have questions that need to answer.
Ponderers (which are the basis of fans of the program, of course), will experience a key characteristic of The way to the house Time travel implies getting out of a wet body of water, having to face all the historical disasters that await you while being completely soaked. Flashes and you will miss it, but there is a very similar circumstance in an episode of Providence fallsAnd distribution admits that the Easter egg coincident was the group’s most “difficult” scene.
The Providence Falls scene “the most difficult” is accidental like the Easter egg at home, and I live for that

Spoilers for Providence falls in front.
“There is a scene that had an involvement in a lake and we turned in Vancouver, and it was in February, so you can imagine how icy water was, and there were waterfalls to accompany it,” Stevens tells me on the stage. “So, it was really, really difficult. Although we had the wet costume and things under our costume, it was always freezing. So, it was probably the most difficult, just for that. The scene is actually one of my favorite scenes in the whole series, but it was certainly not as glamorous to film.”
You will find the scene in question at the end of part 2 of Providence fallsWhile Cora tries to move away from Marcus once she will realize that he is really working with the bad side. Marcus pursues and pulls a pistol on Cora, leading to a combat by the water which ends with Cora falling into the lake. Fortunately, Finn and Liam arrive just in time, with Liam by plunging heroically to save Cora as she loses consciousness.
If it was an episode of The way to the houseCora would have surfaced from the water in its Irish calendar in the 1800s, aware that it travels the time between two points in history. Instead, Providence falls Choose to ride the two deadlines in a montage, with Cora convinced that she dreams when she thinks of herself in the past. The act of traveling in time could be more lively in the new mini-series, but I can’t help but draw obvious parallels from the way fantasy is mixed with reality.
There is another similarity between Providence Falls and the way back

It is not the only Easter egg in Home that I saw in Providence fallsHowever. The opening scene seems almost identical to the forest where the Landry pond is set, with Cora and Liam of the 1800s, even venture briefly in the water while Kat and Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) could in The way to the house. However, this is only a coincidence, with all Providence falls“Irish scenes being filmed … Well, Ireland.
“We filmed the first film, then we went to Ireland, shot all the Irish images for the three films together, then made films two and three,” added Stevens. “So Ireland almost felt like its own film. I think the advantage of the way we have shot is that our characters are trying to understand each other, and cora to these dreams, but cannot really give it meaning. In real life, we have to remember our time in Ireland, so we now know what our characters were thinking about things they are doing, We.
“We filmed in Dublin and the Château de K Kingeddery, where the house of Cora is located. And then we fired on the castle where the Beckham were married, which was really cool. ”
