The schedule for a joint sitting of Parliament scheduled for Monday (today) has been changed. According to a spokesperson for the Secretariat of the National Assembly, the joint session will now be held at 3 p.m. instead of 10:30 a.m.

The time of the joint session was revised by President Asif Ali Zardari. The President will address the joint sitting of Parliament, Radio Pakistan reported. During the second parliamentary year of the 16th National Assembly, which ended on February 17, 46 bills were passed, including 40 government bills and six private members’ bills. Twenty-seven resolutions were also adopted during the year.
