The independent school district of Irving in Irving in Irving, Texas, provided a statement to PK Press Club Digital addressed to the recent video of Reny Lizardo, executive director of campus operations, giving these advice, who were obtained by precision in the media.
The declaration indicates that Lizardo has resigned from his position.

In the images, Lizardo said: “It’s not illegal if you don’t let yourself be taken”, with regard to the change in sex on the birth certificate of a child, and “if you can do it, And you turn us a birth certificate that says “this sex” is the sex with which we are going. ”

The district insists that the treatment of the situation by Lizardo does not reflect the values and protocols of the school district.
PK Press Club Digital contacted Lizardo to comment.
How transgender in sports changed the 2024 elections and sparked a national counterculture
“We want to reiterate that Irving ISD complies with all state and federal laws, and all employees should respect all legal and ethical standards. The message transmitted in the video, as presented, does not reflect opinions or policies of the district policies, “the statement said.
The District Declaration concludes by affirming that all of its athletes participate in the appropriate gender category.
“We can also confirm that all ISD students in Irving are participating in their sport in accordance with the sex attributed to them at birth,” said the district. “Irving ISD is unshakable in our commitment to the security and well-being of all our students and our staff. We remain focused on our main function to maintain excellence in education and promote the full potential of our students.”
Texas is one of the 25 states of the United States with a law that prevents or prevents transgender athletes from competing with girls and women. In June 2023, the State adopted the Save Women’s Sports Act which prohibits transgender athletes from participating in the sports of girls and women and only allowed students to participate in the gender category indicated on their birth certificate.
The law only allows schools to recognize the modifications made to birth certificates that have been made to correct an office error.
The Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, addressed the images involving Lizardo in a post on X and asked that he be dismissed and investigated.
“This Irving ISD administrator must be dismissed on the spot. Criminal and civil surveys must be carried out against the administrator and Irving ISD,” wrote Abbott. “Irving ISD and its employees were involved in a fraudulent violation of the laws of the States and a coverage? We must obtain the facts.”
