The second Lady Usha Vance was selected to lead the presidential delegation in Italy for the special winter games of the 2025 special Olympic Games, the office of President Donald Trump announced on Thursday.
Vance will direct the delegation in Turin, Italy, the host city of this year’s matches. The opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday.
USHA has been a lawyer married to the vice-president JD VANCE since 2014. They have three children.

USHA sat next to the former volleyball player at the Payton McNabb high school during Trump’s address to a joint congress session on Tuesday evening. McNabb told PK Press Club Digital that she had “broken heart” when she learned that Trump’s executive order on the participation of transgender athletes in female and girls sports was not codified by the Senate.

“Last night, just on the whole, the Democratic Party was so disrespectful,” said McNabb in reference to the members of the party who wore pink during the joint session of the Congress.
“And they did not defend any of the guests. They did not defend Dj Daniel, who is the young boy who survived brain cancer. They did not defend the family of Laken Riley, whose girl literally underwent a traumatic death who should never have happened. And all the other guests who were there had a kind of powerful history, and they are not accompanied by all this.”

“So, it was heartbreaking, and honestly, I would like to be able to say that I was surprised, but I am not,” she concluded.
