Islamabad:
The Senate adopted the Special Technology Authority (amendment) Senate on Thursday, 2025 with a majority vote.
The bill was tabled by the Federal Minister of Law and judge Azam Nazeer Tarar in the House. It aims to further rationalize the functioning of the Special Technology Authority Zones (STZA) and to promote the growth of the technological sector of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar informed the Senate that the number of centers providing antiretroviral therapy (art) has gone considerably from 49 in 2020 to 94 at the end of 2024.
