Islamabad:
On Friday, the Senate unanimously adopted a resolution reaffirming the unwavering commitment of the nation to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty, the maintenance of democratic values and the construction of a united and prosperous future for future generations.
The resolution was moved by the federal minister of law Azam Nazeer Tarar in relation to independence day, promised national unity, sustainable development and economic empowerment while honoring the vision of Quaid-Ezam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the sacrifices of those who laid the bases of Pakistan.
