The Director General (DG) of the Sindh health has published urgent directives to combat the cases of H1N1 influenza up from the province.

In an official notice sent to all district health workers, medical superintendents from government hospitals and other competent authorities, the Sindh health service has educated strict follow -up of H1N1 cases in all hospitals, said Express News .

Suspicious and confirmed cases must be reported quickly to the provincial health office. Hospitals must also guarantee protective measures, including the provision of EPI kits for medical staff.

The opinion also highlights the need for public awareness campaign to promote the port of mask and social distancing. Vaccination against flu should be strongly encouraged, especially for vulnerable people, medical staff, children and people with existing health problems. All medical centers must strictly follow infections control protocols.

District officials were responsible for submitting daily reports on cases and challenges encountered. Depending on the health service, preventive measures and timely vaccinations can help limit the propagation of the virus.

The public was advised to avoid unnecessary gatherings and immediately consult a medical consultation if the symptoms appear.

A month ago, the Minister of Health of the Sindh, Dr. Azra Pechuho, rejected the reports of a COVID-19 epidemic in Karachi, which calls them incorrect, as indicated by the local media.

In a statement published on Monday, the minister said that out of more than 100 COVVI-19 tests in Karachi, only seven people were tested positive. “The relationships of a coco-19 propagation in the city are baseless,” she said.

Dr. Pechuho explained that COVVI-19 precautionary tests were carried out for people with seasonal flu and flu.
