Karachi:
A solidarity camp took place at the Karachi Press Club to support the World Marche in Gaza, attracting the participation of political and religious leaders, members of civil society, human rights activists and students.
Organized jointly by Palestine Foundation Pakistan, the Federal Urdu University and Think Tank Kap, the camp aimed to express its support for the international convoy in Gaza.
The convoy, which began in Algeria and reached Egypt after having crossed several countries, was blocked during the crossing of Rafah by the Egyptian authorities, who would have used force against peace activists.
The camp speakers severely criticized the Egyptian government for hampering humanitarian aid and held the Gaza convoy, and held the US accomplices of the blockade.
They also condemned recent attacks by Israel against Iran, which calls them acts of state terrorism.
Participants accused Israel of having committed a genocide in Gaza by blocking food and helping while bombing civilians, and condemned the international community and Muslim leaders for their silence and inaction.
The speakers demanded immediate compensation for diplomatic links with Israel by Muslim states and called on the Pakistani government to adopt a firmer position in support of Palestine and Iran.
