- The Eurocom Raptor X17 laptop is designed for AI, cybersecurity and high -end simulations.
- A 17.3 inch monster with advanced cooling features
- And with 128 GB of RAM, even heavy workloads take place smoothly
Eurocom, known for its powerful but expensive laptops, such as Sky X4C, published the Raptor X17, a mobile workstation which supports up to 24 TB of NVME SSD storage on three M.2 locations, including two PCIE 4.0 X4 and a PCIe 5.0 player.
On the configuration page of the Raptor X17, Eurocom affirms that its new laptop is designed for professionals who manage intensive workloads such as the formation of AI tools, cybersecurity and large -scale simulations.
In its heart is the Core i9-14900HX of Intel, a 24-core processor and 32-Thread designed for exceptional calculation power, because the Intel HM770 PCIe 4.0 architecture allows high-speed data processing.
The Raptor X17 has a NVIDIA RTX 4090 mobile GPU with 9,728 cuda cores and 304 cores ai tensor. Although the absence of an RTX 5090M can be disappointing, the RTX 4090M remains one of the most powerful mobile graphics cards available.
Users can configure storage with RAID 0, 1 or 5, optimizing for speed, redundancy or a balance of both. The laptop also supports up to 128 GB of RAM DDR5, with speeds of up to 5,600 MHz, guaranteeing smooth performance for applications with high memory intensity.
Eurocom offers two display options: a 17.3 -inch QHD panel (2560 x 1440) with a 240 Hz refresh rate or a UHD option (3840 x 2160) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The chassis is made from an aluminum-magnet alloy, but that does not reduce its weight, because it happens to 3.29 kg and 24.9 mm thick. On the heaviest side, it serves those who prioritize robustness and power.
For connectivity, this commercial laptop includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-C 3.2, three USB-A, HDMI 2.0 ports and Dual Mini DisplayPort 1.4. It also has an integrated 2.5 GBE Ethernet port with support for an additional LAN connection via Thunderbolt 4.
To maintain maximum performance under heavy workloads, Eurocom has integrated an advanced cooling system to prevent thermal limitation. The laptop is delivered with an AC 780W adapter.
With a starting price of $ 12,000, the Eurocom Raptor X17 means that the most expensive M4 MAX MAX MACBook Pro M4 laptop seems to be compared to a reasonable price. However, this mobile workstation is a premium option for users who need extreme performance and configurability.
