If there is one thing that encourages music lovers to register for Spotify Premium, it is listening without without danger. However, a recent bug in the Spotify application has slipped into advertisements between musical flows, proving that even the best music streaming services have their defective moments.
The first reports on the bug surfaced online four weeks ago in the Spotify Community Forum, and this quickly turned out to be current for many premium subscribers, causing significant frustration among those who pay to hear music without advertising. A few days after the online complaints, Spotify recognized the problem and defined on the correction of the bug, sharing the following declaration: “We have good news from our teams – a correction for cases where premium users have noticed advertisements when listening to music and you should notice a difference immediately”.
But it was four weeks ago, and almost a month after the problem with Spotify Premium advertisements was raised, it seemed that many paid music fans still found advertisements between songs. Although Spotify has been expressed about meeting promotional content mainly in podcasts, the announcements should still not have a place in the premium level for those who subscribe.
Finally, Spotify finally discussed the problem (still) this week by adopting X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, March 6, to share the status of the problem (see below). This is the last update we have received from the company, therefore, we can only assume that Spotify is currently attacking its problem.
We are aware of certain problems with the application now and check them! We will keep you posted here: https://t.co/locqe1o9OeMarch 6, 2025
Could this bug indicate the arrival of Spotify Hifi?
Spotify surely had his work cut, in particular after his repression against the applications `Fachered ”, but it is terribly practical that these insects have surfaced – especially in the wake of recent rumors according to which Spotify Hifi could arrive later this year.
Instead of launching a whole new level for loss audio, we can expect Spotify Hifi to be a supplement to its premium level. One of the most interesting parts of the next Spotify commercial enterprises is the possibility of a new “superfront” level, which promises experiences of improved fans through deeper music catalogs and even agreements on concert tickets.
Given that Spotify has experienced not one, but two bug problems in a short period of time, it is only suspected that he could be in place to introduce his next levels and subscription supplements. Spotify has brought the weight of many criticisms, not only because of his advertising bug, but also his loss -free in loss of five years. There is a lot of pressure on Spotify to do things right, and I hope it can be redeemed.
