Simone Ashley, famous for her role in Bridgerton The series made its debut to produce with the latest Rom-Com, Imagine this.
In an interview with People Magazine, Simone revealed that her love for Roma orders from the 90s inspired her for the film.
The actress said: “I loved all these classic Roma from the 90s: anything with Julia Roberts, the marriage of my best friend, the other woman, 10 things that I hate about you, bend like Beckham, Bridget Jones. Of course, I’m so desperate.”
“I think rom-comes allow people to have this space where you believe in the idea that love is possible. And that’s what I feel when I look at them. So, being part of this kind was really exciting for me,” added Simone.
It should be mentioned that Simone has also played in Imagine this, Playing the character Pia as she embarks on a trip to find love through five dates established by her friends and family.
Thinking about her experience, Simone said: “It was also super fun. I think each project requires a different concentration and attention set in different fields. And so it was an incredible learning experience.”
“I get away from it and I say to myself:” Oh, I could have done more, or I could have done less. “And you can carry this experience on the following thing,” she added.
