General hospital Star Jonathan Jackson broke his silence during his recent release of the soap.
The 43 -year -old actor won five Emmy Daytime Emmy for his role as Lucky Spencer despite his appearances since his role in the role in 1993.
In a recent interview with TelevisionThe actor shared that his reasons to leave are the back and forth trip between California, where the films of the show, and his house in Tennessee, where he and his family live.
“There was always this possibility because it was a bit of an experience on my part to see if I could make it work with family dynamics,” said Jackson, who shares three children with his wife and former co-star of the Lisa Vultaggio General Hospital.
Jackson, who joined the show in August 2024, shared that he had done his best to maintain a balance between professional and private life, but that did not work for him. “We gave our best blow, but we could not continue,” he admitted.
The actor insisted that he had hoped “to be able to stay longer” than the nine months he spent with the cast.
“There are not as many situations in life as you can go to this world where many things have changed and many things have remained the same,” he said, noting the “incredible connections” he has with a lot of crew and those working in the series.
“Then, in addition to that, you have the character you play who has this story, and you can work with so many people again,” he added.
