The star of the NFL Xavien Howard retires

The quarter of the Pro Bowl corner, Xavien Howard, suddenly retired from NFL on Wednesday after fighting during the first four games of the season with the Indianapolis colts.

Team officials said Howard was placed on the reserve / retired list after training on Wednesday. The team signed Safety Trey Washington to take their place on the list of 53 men.

Howard published a statement on his Instagram account.

“Throughout my career, I have always played football for the love of sport. I appreciated everything that came with the NFL, it was my passion for the game that led me,” he said. “I love and appreciate the dolphins of Miami for writing me and having given me the chance to play professional football. I do not thank the Indianapolis colts enough for allowing me to continue to live my dream, but my dream has now changed.

“I got closer to God and asked him to run my way. I am a man of faith and I believe with all my heart that he does not make mistakes. He led me to put an end to my career. I now put God and my priorities first.”

He added that his “goal was fulfilled in this sport” and that taking care of his children is the goal for him now.

Howard, 32, joined the colts after missing all the 2024 season. He spent the first eight years of his career with the Miami dolphins. He succeeded in 11 plated and a recovery escaped in the first four games, which included a 33-8 victory against his former team in week 1.

However, he had had trouble since this first match.

“I knew that a team was going to attack me at the start of the season. Howard’s best season occurred in 2020 when he was a professional bowling player for the second time in his career. He had 20 shortcomings and 10 interceptions in 16 games.

He ended his career with 29 career interceptions, 342 plated and 95 pass ruptures.
