In Thunderbolt*, Marvel focuses on solitude and the fight against depression. Florence Pugh, who played Yelena, says it is a huge business.
In an interview EWThe actress said, “Oh my God is massive. It is a huge affair. It is a huge affair that this theme was made with a Marvel budget, and they cared enough to make it the main event.”
“And it’s so important, so important for everyone right now,” she adds.
This theme, said Florence, also appeared in Black Widow of 2021. “This is the story of these girls and women and the control of which they were placed, which really made me want to be part of this story,” notes the star.
“And I said to myself: ‘Whoa, many girls will go watch this film and they will be educated and inspired, and it’s so cool’,” she continues.
“And I feel the same with it. So many people, adults and children, will look at this, and if they need it, they will see each other or their friends or their partners, and it’s so wonderful to be able to make a film for the masses you know will be useful,” concludes Florence.
