An instant success on Netflix, season 1 was created in September 2024 and quickly became one of the best Netflix shows to watch on one of the best streaming services. Hearing it was renewed for a second series, then made quite exciting news.

No one wants this season 2: is there a release date?
Nobody wants that Season 2 may not yet have an official release date, but it has been confirmed that The show will be presented on Netflix later this year.
According to the Instagram post above, the cast and the team started to film for season 2 in early March and it seems that the first episode will be called “Dinner Party”.
If we take a look at season 1, the shooting was carried out between February and May 2024 with the launch of the program in September of the same year. So, since the shooting of season 2 in March, this could well mean a release date in October or roughly. But we will have to wait and see.

And, exciting, there are a bunch of new distribution members who join the series. One of them is the real wife of Adam Brody, Leighton Meester. As Tudum revealed, Leighton will be invited-star as Abby, “Nemesis de Joanne from the college who is now an influencer of Instagram mom”.
Leighton is not the only one to join the romantic drama. There is also Miles Fowler who will play Lenny, “teammate of Noah Matzah Ballers who is set up with Morgan (Justine Lupe)”.
And there are more recurrent guest stars, including Alex Karpovsky, playing Big Noah, “ a rabbi that is too confident at the temple of Noah ” and Arian Moayed like Dr Andy, “a charming psychotherapist, very appreciated (in particular by himself) which could well be the perfect match for Morgan.”
There are also new additions to the crew, with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, both Girls Fame, joining as a showrunners alongside the creator of the series, Erin Foster.

Nobody wants that Season 1 has left viewers on the lovely eyes of love cliffhanger ending. The tumultuous relationship of the couple has apparently held in a religious impasse towards the end of season 1, although they find many reasons to stay together.
