Islamabad:
The Minister of Law, senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, held a meeting on Wednesday with presidents and secretaries of various associations of bars of the Sargodha division.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss questions related to the next elections of the provincial bar councils scheduled for this year.
Addressing concerns, the minister clearly said clearly that no modification will be made to the laws governing the elections of the Council of the Provincial Bar. He stressed that the elections will take place in time in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
The meeting also included a discussion on current and future development projects for the legal community.
Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar reiterated the government’s commitment to support the legal fraternity and announced subsidies to various bars associations.
These financial subsidies will facilitate the development and renovation projects of bars offices, guaranteeing a working environment more conducive to lawyers.
