The Swati speaker strikes us on Iran

Peshawar:

The president of the assembly of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Babar Saleem Swati, firmly condemned the uninsured attack of the United States against Iranian nuclear installations, which described it as a blatant and serious violation of Iranian sovereignty, territorial integrity, of the Charter of the United Nations and international law.

He said the strike comes at a time when Iran is already faced with the assault of Israel, adding that such actions will not only intensify tensions in the region but will also be a serious threat to world peace. Swati expressed his full solidarity and sympathy with the people and the government of Iran, urging the international community to immediately take a remarkable assault and play its role in peace and stability in the Middle East.

He also stressed that international institutions and United Nations should not remain silent spectators and that the maintenance of international law should be their most important priority.

Meanwhile, the adviser of the chief minister on information and public relations, Barrister Dr Saif, firmly criticized the proposal reported by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to appoint former US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, calling him “height of sycophantic policy”.

Lawyer Saif said it was incomprehensible to suggest such an honor for a man “responsible for raining bombs on Muslims”. He stressed that President Trump not only directly attacked Iran during his mandate, but also rejected eight times the ceasefire resolutions in Gaza.

“Instead of mediating peace between Iran and Israel, innocent civilians are directly targeted-and Shehbaz Sharif remains silent, but speaks of Trump’s appointment for the Nobel Peace Prize. It is not only shameful, it is condemnable,” he said.

He added: “There is a limit to flattery, and the recent remarks by Shehbaz Sharif are not only shameful but reflect the level of ultimate servitude. The appointment of Trump is equivalent to insulting the whole Ummah Muslim.”
