We now have an official moment for the Nintendo Switch 2 directly on April 2, and it may not comply with the historic Nintendo Direct Air Times.
Announced by the regional social channels of Nintendo on X / Twitter, on April 2 Nintendo Direct – which should be a complete revelation and a deeper dive on Nintendo Switch 2 – will be online at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. and / 14h GMT / 3 p.m.. This is a standard for most direct presentations of Nintendo, which are generally broadcast in the morning in the United States and in the afternoon for British and European people.
Before that, we only had this general date of April 2 live to leave, which was revealed in the official trailer for the announcement of Nintendo Switch 2. Now we have real times in stone, This will facilitate budding viewers to plan their days around the presentation (or, you know, book a day off that I will unfortunately not have the luxury to make. Sigh).

As for what we will see during the Nintendo Switch 2 direct, the company remains tight. Although we probably do not get exhaustive ventilation of specifications – at least not the genre you would see, let’s say, Mark Cerny de PlayStation – that should give us a better idea of the improvements that we can expect on the basic material Nintendo Switch.
There will probably be many new games, however, as well as the potential of an official launch date for the system. We already know a whole new Mario Kart The game is on the way thanks to the Switch 2 announcement trailer, but could we also get updates on Metroid Prime 4 Beyond And Pokémon Legends: ZA? The two are always planned for a 2025 version, so we can certainly hope.
