Rawalpindi:

The Department of Incisible Control, Taxation and Narcotics has intensified its commercial and national land tax campaign in the Rawalpindi area following a deficit of 55% of professional, professional and luxury tax collections.

The land tax collections in the districts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal and Jhelum would have 50 to 54% below the objectives, while the newly designated tourist district of Malrier, known as Malika Kohsar, recorded a deficit of up to 60%.

In response, the ministry launched a large -scale operation, sealing 126 failing property units and recovering a total of 2.89 million rupees in current taxes.

Seven excise agents and fiscal in the Rawalpindi area have received justification notices under the Punjab Employee Act (PEEDA) so as not to have achieved recovery objectives and can be dismissed.
