Quetta:
A group of 20 to 30 terrorists affiliated to the group sponsored by the Indians Fitna al-Hindustan stormed the highly frequented market in Surab, Balutchistan on Friday.
The attackers targeted soft targets, including banks, markets and civilians, including women and children in the local Baloutche community, said the spokesman for the provincial government.
During the assault, the revenues of ADC Hidayatullah Balidi, a resident of Balida and serving in Surab, confronted the terrorists and were martyred during the meeting while defending civilians.
Upon arrival of the Forces of the body frontier (FC), the terrorists fled the scene in panic, abandoning their assault. Local authorities condemned the attack, calling it a loose attempt to question the brief of the state and to disrupt peace in the region.
According to the spokesperson, the terrorists looted a bank on the Surab market and set fire to several government residences. The attack on the ADC’s residence was particularly odious because women and children were present at the time.
The spokesman stressed that these activists act on the instructions of their Indian managers, unrelated to the traditions or values of Balutchistan or its people. The state has promised to thwart all these hostile activities.
The security forces, including the FC, the police and the levies, launched authorization and research operations in the region to apprehend the attackers and the restoration of the order.
The provincial government expressed condolences to the family of Adc Balidi, welcoming their courage and sacrifice as a brilliant example of bravery to defend the fatherland.
