It was the icing at the top of a wild night for the Cornhuskers.
Raiola succeeded 364 yards by the pass and four affected in the victory to be laundered. It was the greatest number of points that the team had scored in a match since 2007 and the most yards (728) in a match since 2014.
“This is a new style of football from Nebraska,” said Raiola. “We are not going to be a team of first half and go out, then to drop off. To make this performance, we have adapted everyone that we could and have as many guys as we could in the game. Job well done by everyone. We played very hard for four quarters.”
