- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X has been revealed
- It will be a free update that takes the free popular tactical shooter
- It brings new visual revisions plus a new card and fashion
The Ubisoft developer has unveiled Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege XA successor to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege which will be published as a free update.
Described as “the greatest evolution of Seat history,” Siege X should arrive in June 2025. A brand new trailer for gameplay gave us our first real overview of the game in action, which you can see for yourself.
To watch
In the trailer, we see a whole new game mode: double front. After a unique 6v6 format, the double front will include dynamic objectives and the possibility of choosing operators from the attacker teams and in defense from an organized list of 35.
The game mode even has its own exclusive card and it looks absolutely massive. The pace of this mode certainly seems much higher than the more tactical gameplay to which most players are used to.
Although I have cut with Seat Over the years, I am definitely more Call of duty the player and this mode seems to be sufficient to move away from Black ops 6.
Siege X Also will see major visual improvements made to old cards, including new lighting, improved shadows and 4K textures. At the launch, Clubhouse, Chalet, Border, Bank and Kafe will be improved, with more revisions to come via future updates.
The trailer has also shown the new mechanics as a reminder, which seems much more fluid and will even allow you to run horizontally and jump in the corners.
We also know now that Siege X will be free, with new players with access to double -before -why, unsecred and fast game modes and the possibility of winning up to 26 operators. You can go to one of the Premium editions to unlock the classified mode.
If you have already bought a version of Rainbow Six Siege Then there is no need to worry either. You will keep all the awards before and even get exclusive veteran rewards depending on the year you have started to play.
A closed beta version for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X is available now and will take place until March 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. You can register via the official game website.
