Long -term Nfl Deputy coach and Runncaneers coach of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Skip Peete coach, would have collapsed after undergoing a “medical episode” on Tuesday during the team training.
Bucs published a declaration confirming the incident, adding that Peete was in stable condition after being treated by the team’s medical staff on the spot.

“During the training of this morning’s walk, the coach of the runners Backs Skip Peete experienced a medical episode. He was followed by the team’s medical staff and was reactive, consistent and in stable condition before being transported out of site for other medical assessments. Additional updates will be provided as they are available.”

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Peete collapsed during the incident.
Head coach Todd Bowles addressed the incident during his press conference with journalists later on Tuesday, adding that Peete “was fine” but would suffer an additional evaluation.
“Right now, he is consistent, and he is fine. They are doing tests at the moment-preliminary, dehydrated,” he said before describing the incident as “very scary”.

Strategist Baker Mayfield echoes this feeling. He said Peete was “alert” immediately afterwards and “made jokes”.
“Right now, it was much bigger than the football game, especially when you come to work every day with teammates, coach staff and everyone in the building – when something happens to someone close to you, it puts things in perspective.”

Peete is in his third year with the Buccaneers. He previously was coach of the runners for the Dallas Cowboys (2007-12 and 2020-22), Los Angeles Rams (2016-19) and Raiders of the Era-Oakland (1998-2006).
Peete is the son of the former coach of the NFL Willie Peete and the brother of the former quarter-rear of NFL Rodney Peete.
